Pediatric dentistry
Pediatric dentistry focuses on the dental care of babies, children and adolescents, ensuring that their teeth develop healthy and strong.
Our specialized pediatric dentistry team is trained to address the specific dental concerns of childhood, from the first tooth to the transition to permanent teeth.
In addition to treatments, we place special emphasis on education. We guide children and their parents in the best practices of oral hygiene, nutrition and healthy habits, thus establishing the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
And because we know that the dental clinic can be an intimidating place for little ones, we have created a friendly and welcoming environment, where each child feels comfortable and safe.

Prophylaxis and dental cleanings
These regular cleanings help remove tartar and plaque, preventing cavities and periodontal disease.
Application of fluoride
Fluoride helps strengthen tooth enamel, making it more resistant to acid attack and therefore reducing the risk of cavities.
Sealants
This is a protective coating placed on the occlusal (masticatory) surfaces of the posterior permanent teeth to prevent cavities.
Cavity treatments
This may include fillings, crowns, or pulp treatments such as pulpectomies on affected primary teeth.
Interceptive orthodontics
Used to correct bite or alignment problems at an early stage, often using removable or fixed appliances.
Space maintenance
If a primary tooth is lost prematurely, a space maintainer may be used to ensure that adjacent teeth do not shift and block the eruption of the permanent tooth.
Treatment of dental trauma
Children are prone to accidents. The treatment of fractured, displaced or avulsed teeth (completely dislodged from their socket) is common in pediatric dentistry.
Oral hygiene education
The pediatric dentist teaches children proper brushing and flossing techniques and advises on healthy eating habits.
